DisableStorage
The DisableStorage property can be configured to True, indicating a data item will not be read from or written to the configured storage.
The DisableStorage is usually configured for calculated data items, not to be stored, but configured in a container for which a storage is configured.
The default value for this property is: False
A case parameter of a template can carry the property, and since GeoDMS 20.19.3 the instantiated parameter carries it too. Before that, the property was lost on instantiation, because a case parameter takes its properties from the argument it is instantiated with: the parameter then took part in any storage of an ancestor of the instance, and an MMD writer stored a DisableStorage'd parameter unit as a domain of its own. The other properties of a case parameter still come from the argument.
An MMD storage treats everything below its holder as part of the store, so since GeoDMS 20.19.3 an item with DisableStorage = "True" below a holder that is being written makes the write fail, naming the item. Before that the item was silently left out of the dictionary, with attributes declared on it written against a domain the dictionary did not carry. See MMD for what to do instead.
