Conversion functions are used to convert value types, round data items or use different notations.
Examples how to convert coordinates can be found here.
- uint2(u2)
- uint4(u4)
- uint8(b)
- uint16(w)
- uint32(u)
- uint64(u64)
- int8(c)
- int16(s)
- int32(i)
- int64(i64)
- float32(f)
- float64(d)
- string
- bool
Since GeoDMS 20.22.0 a float32 or float64 value converted to an integer type is checked against the range of that type whatever the precision of the float, and gives null when it lies outside it. The check could be skipped where the integer type has at least as many bits as the float has for its mantissa, so that a number outside the range could become a wrong number instead of null: uint64 of 2^64 gave 9223372036854775808.
