Prepare 0.6.0 for the new experimental frozen Slurm launch API and the accumulated documentation revisions. Update package/runtime/citation versions together and date the changelog. A minor release is warranted because this adds optional public interfaces while preserving existing runner contracts and NumPy-only core requirements.
Document the successful two-CPU Rockfish pilot and its interpreter availability lesson. Broader distributed executor integration and target-site qualification remain open.
Validation: full package CI, strict documentation, wheel/sdist build and clean artifact smoke checks before publication. Publishing the GitHub release will trigger the trusted PyPI workflow.
