docs(test): pin the celeris source references in the h2c matrix to v1.5.11 - #111
Conversation
….5.11 The comments in integration_h2c_test.go cite celeris source by path and line number. The paths are right for the pinned celeris v1.5.11 but engine/ and resource/ moved under internal/ on celeris main, and the line numbers were already stale at v1.5.11. Name the version, the file and the function instead, and say why the two moved paths do not resolve on main. The skip-reason string for the Auto rows gets the same wording.

Tests must be deterministic: flag time.Sleep used for synchronisation, unseeded randomness, fixed ports, and assertions on wall-clock durations tight enough to fail on a loaded CI runner.

loadgen is the measurement instrument for the celeris benchmark suite: a bug here produces a wrong number that looks like a server result.

- The pinned
v1.5.11tag exists at commit1ff8feb.... Its tree containsengine/epoll/loop.go,engine/iouring/worker.go, andprotocol/h2/stream/processor.go; these paths are absent frommain, where they moved underinternal/engineandinternal/protocol.[::goceleris/celeris::] - The cited functions are present at v1.5.11:
switchToH2in both engine implementations,InjectStreamHeadersin the H2 processor, andtryUpgradeH2Cininternal/conn/h1.go.[::goceleris/celeris::] - The current Celeris implementation confirms these functions govern the H1→H2C handoff, stream-1 injection, and residual-preface processing, so pinning the comments to v1.5.11 is materially important.

- The repository’s validation harness directly exercises h2c upgrade behavior through
validation/h2c.go, including construction of the RFC h2c upgrade preamble and classification of upgraded, declined, crashed, and hung outcomes.[::goceleris/probatorium::] - No exported API, dependency, or runtime contract is affected by the described comment-only changes.

Align the deferred-commit attribution with v1.5.11.
The file header defines all Celeris references below as v1.5.11, but this explanation still attributes the behavior to v1.4.1. This leaves the cited behavior tied to a different version than the referenced source. Update the attribution.

What
Comment-only update to
integration_h2c_test.go, plus one skip-reason string (below). The comments cite celeris source by path and line number. They now name the celeris version, the file and the function. Why
goceleris/celeris#443 (merged as goceleris/celeris#938, 21d49ef) moved
engine/,resource/and the other codec packages underinternal/. loadgen'sinternal/integrationtest/testserveris pinned to celeris v1.5.11, which still has the old paths, so the comments are right for the pin and wrong for celeris main.Findings:
github.com/goceleris/celerisininternal/integrationtest/testserver/main.go.internal/paths that do not exist at the pin.resource/config.go:167-169is at 187-188,internal/conn/h1.go"line 536" istryUpgradeH2Cat 824,config.go:210-215is at 289-293,engine/iouring/worker.go:782-794is at 1249-1260). I replaced them with function names, each checked against the v1.5.11 tag.Scope
Only
integration_h2c_test.go. The one non-comment edit is theautoCoercesUpgradestring constant, which shows up in-vskip output; no test logic, matrix cell or build tag changes. No repin.Checks
The file carries the
integrationbuild tag, so only the integration matrix job inci.ymlcompiles and runs it.
