chore(webhook): bump local-webhook pin 0.32.0 -> 0.34.1 (per-object batches, #887) - #920
Conversation
0.34.0 keys the dispatch bucket on the object an event is about (issue/PR number, CI sha, generic identifier), so a coalesced batch never holds two objects and the single spawn meta is complete (#887). Skips no release, but note 0.33.0 rides along: the durable on-disk inbox for accepted deliveries. - Line 1640: Update Dispatcher._bucket() so the dispatch batch key includes
meta.source and meta.topic alongside the existing routing and spawn fields,
keeping events from different sources or topics in separate batches and
preserving per-assignment lifecycle records.
- Line 1640: Do not adopt revision 257822e96674920fd2aff5ac0b52811a18854e69
while the local-webhook request body and total spool size are unbounded. Pin a
revision of defangdevs/local-channels that adds both limits, then update the
revision and corresponding hash in the module.

0.33.0's durable inbox drops a re-sent delivery id as a duplicate before dispatch, so the dispatch-brake post (the third send of test-1) never reached the dispatcher and the "not spawning" log line the test waits for never came. Re-sends that must be processed again now carry a fresh id; the signature covers the body only, so nothing else changes. 0.34.1 adds the event's source, the matching watch's topic and its name to the dispatch bucket (local-channels#104), closing the review findings on this PR: one object id from two senders, or under two watches, never shares a batch. Symptom (#887): a coalesced batch of several assignments seeded the claim, lease and spawn log for the newest object only.
Fix is upstream and merged (defangdevs/local-channels#103 + #104, 0.34.1, per the maintainer's direction on #887/#919): events about different objects never share a batch. This bumps the pin from 0.32.0 to 0.34.1 (rev 17c457a). No agent-box code change is needed: each batch now has one object, so the existing single-meta claim, lease and log are complete.
0.33.0 rides along (never pinned here): the durable Maildir-style inbox for accepted deliveries (local-channels#60, #100). Worth a look from whoever knows its disk footprint on small boxes.
Cost: N objects arriving together start N sessions (against the session cap, #662) instead of one.
Checks (aarch64): module-generated-up-to-date, golden-snapshot, webhook-defer, webhook-spawn-claim, webhook-route, one-spec-both-backends. Module regenerated; golden and native fixtures unchanged. VM lanes on CI.
This covers the claim/lease/log part of #887. Not done (own design question): a per-object disposition that survives
agent-box-session rm; with one object per session it is much smaller, so I'd wait to see whether it is still needed.Refs #887.

Update: re-pinned to 0.34.1 (local-channels#104: source, topic and watch name join the bucket) to address CodeRabbit's finding 1. Still open: its finding 2 (no cap on request body or spool, local-channels#105), a maintainer decision.
