Closing this superseded draft because both commits are included in #131's public branch. That PR remains a draft while its final repair is validated; this closure does not claim the work is merged or released. Its recorded Windows install and Codex consumer checks retain the low-confidence search and graph limits. The extra client targets and HTTP setup from #140 remain separate. This branch is being retained. |

Setup handled one tool at a time and could save an installer path that disappeared after cache cleanup.
Init detects supported tools, configures the selected tools together, and preserves existing settings and instructions.
Each tool starts a pinned package for the selected repository; reruns update only recognized generated launches.
Tested: regression suite, cold packaged setup, unchanged reruns, and native Codex search followed by a source read.
Earlier native Claude checks passed; Cursor and OpenCode need sign-in, and the simultaneous-client check is incomplete.
