Closes #880. Part of #674.

Type

What changes and why

A user whose lnp2pBot reputation is bound to one identity could not move it to another from the app. lnp2pBot tells them to "authorize the move from your Mostro app with the identity it is bound to", but the rebind controls lived inside the Export card (shown only while the active node exports) and signed for the node's issuer key only; the bot accepts only an authorisation that names its own issuer key (lnp2pBot/bot#934).

The rebind controls now have a card of their own, "Move to a new identity", always shown. It has the new-identity field and two buttons: Sign for this Mostro, shown while the node advertises reputation_issuer, and Sign for lnp2pBot, which signs for lnp2pbotIssuerKey, a new constant next to lnp2pbotUsername. The confirmation dialog names the issuer the new identity will be able to export from, and the note shown with the signed authorisation gives the next step: for the node, paste it in the export card from the new identity; for the bot, open lnp2pBot from the new identity first ("Get it from lnp2pBot" on the import screen), open no other link to it afterwards, then paste it in that chat and confirm. That order is what the bot requires: it takes the paste only if the last rep_<identity> link opened in that chat was the new identity's (#934).

Affected flow

Settings → Reputation (/reputation), lib/features/reputation/screens/reputation_screen.dart: the Export card loses the rebind controls; a new card holds them. Signing stays in Rust (sign_reputation_rebind through ReputationApi.signRebind); no bridge change. lib/features/reputation/lnp2pbot.dart gains the bot's issuer key. No order or dispute status is touched.

Blast radius

  • Localization: reputationRebindBody reworded; new keys reputationRebindTitle, reputationRebindSignNode, reputationRebindSignBot, reputationRebindSignedForNode, reputationRebindSignedForBot, reputationRebindConfirmBodyBot, in all seven ARBs; reputationRebindSign is now only the dialog's confirm button. Generated app_localizations*.dart regenerated with flutter gen-l10n; the untranslated report is empty.
  • Automation identifiers: new reputation.rebind.sign_bot; the existing ones keep their meaning (reputation.rebind.sign is still the node button). Listed in specs/004-mostro-p2p-client/contracts/reputation_transfer.md, which also documents the new card.
  • Bridge, persisted data, other platforms, wire: untouched. The bot's issuer key is a constant: a rotation on the bot's side needs an app release, which the constant's comment says.
  • The export flow is unchanged apart from the controls moving out of its card: its tests still pass as they were.

Platforms tested

None by hand. See Manual testing.

Manual testing

Not run: this branch was built and verified with flutter analyze and flutter test only; I did not run the app against a node or against lnp2pBot. The steps a person should run:

Setup

App built from this branch with flutter run -d linux (debug). Existing identity X in Reputation Mode, with a lnp2pBot reputation already bound to X (imported once via Settings → Reputation → Import reputation → Get it from lnp2pBot). A second identity Y in the same app (switch identities from Account).

Steps

  1. As Y, open Settings → Reputation → Import reputation and tap "Get it from lnp2pBot".
Expected: Telegram opens lnp2pBot, which answers that the reputation is bound to another identity and asks for an authorisation from it.
  2. Switch to X and open Settings → Reputation.
Expected: a "Move to a new identity" card with the new-identity field and "Sign for lnp2pBot"; "Sign for this Mostro" only if the active node exports.
  3. As X, paste Y's npub and tap "Sign for lnp2pBot".
Expected: a dialog "Authorize this identity?" naming Y's npub and lnp2pBot; after "Sign authorization", the authorisation JSON with a copy button and the note about pasting it in the bot chat.
  4. Paste the authorisation in the lnp2pBot chat and confirm.
Expected: the bot shows "from X to Y", asks to confirm, and after confirming sends an attestation for Y.
  5. Switch to Y, Import reputation, paste the attestation, Check, Import.
Expected: the figures appear and "Your reputation was imported."
  6. Regression: as X on a node that exports, type Y's npub, tap "Sign for this Mostro", confirm.
Expected: the dialog mentions "from this Mostro" and the note says to paste it in the authorization field of the export card; as Y, paste it there and export.
Expected: an attestation for Y, as before this change.

Not covered

Nothing was run by hand (no Telegram session with a bound account at hand). iOS, Android, web: not run.

Screenshots

Pending: no app run yet. The visible change is the new card on the Reputation screen and the Export card without the rebind block. Design rules touched: DS-CMP-4 (secondary buttons, unchanged widget), DS-A11Y-4 (a test covers 320 dp at 2× in German, including the state after signing for the bot).

Automated tests

test/features/reputation/reputation_screen_test.dart:

  • signs a rebind for lnp2pBot with the bot issuer key: on a node that does not export, "Sign for this Mostro" is absent; typing a hex key and tapping "Sign for lnp2pBot" shows the npub and "from lnp2pBot" in the dialog; cancelling signs nothing; confirming calls signRebind with lnp2pbotIssuerKey, shows the result and the note naming "Get it from lnp2pBot".
  • a refused rebind for lnp2pBot shows its reason: a PrivacyModeEnabled refusal is shown and no result appears.
  • signs a rebind for the node only after the npub is confirmed: updated for the new labels, and asserts the issuer passed and the node's note.
  • privacy mode turns every action off: both sign buttons disabled.
  • DS-A11Y-4 group: a new case signs for the bot in German at 2× on 320 dp and asserts no exception.

test/features/reputation/lnp2pbot_test.dart: the bot issuer key is a hex public key.

RED phase: both files failed to compile before the implementation (Undefined name 'lnp2pbotIssuerKey').

07:58 +3090 ~4: All tests passed!

Checklist

  • cd rust && cargo fmt --check && cargo clippy -- -D warnings && cargo test pass locally (no Rust change; not run)
  • dart format --set-exit-if-changed ., flutter analyze and flutter test pass locally (flutter test summary line pasted under Automated tests)
  • Changed rust/src/api/ or an .arb: regenerated code committed in the same commit (CONTRIBUTING.md § Generated code)
  • New or changed user-facing text: every locale updated, no hardcoded strings
  • Changed an automation identifier: coordinated in the linked issue (docs/automation-contract.md) — reputation.rebind.sign_bot added, noted in feat(reputation): sign a rebind authorisation for lnp2pBot #880
  • Protocol or transport change: impact on the daemon and other clients stated (not applicable)
  • Behaviour or contract change: matching spec under specs/ or .specify/ updated
  • Commits are signed
  • I ran the Manual testing steps myself and can explain every line of this diff (not run; see Manual testing)

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Reputation can now be authorized for a new identity through either the active Mostro or lnp2pBot, with separate signing options and issuer-specific instructions.
    • The rebind card remains available even when the active Mostro does not advertise an issuer, so lnp2pBot authorization is still an option.
    • Confirmation messages explain the consequences of authorizing a reputation transfer through lnp2pBot.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Both signing options are disabled in privacy mode.

A user whose lnp2pBot reputation is bound to one identity could not move
it to another from the app: the rebind controls lived inside the Export
card, shown only while the active node exports, and signed for the
node's issuer key only. The bot takes an authorisation that names its
own issuer key (lnp2pBot/bot#934), so there was no way to produce one.

- The rebind controls move to a card of their own, always shown, with
"Sign for this Mostro" (while the node exports) and "Sign for
lnp2pBot", which signs for the bot's issuer key, a constant next to
  its username.
- The confirmation dialog names the issuer the new identity will export
from, and the note shown with the result gives the next step: paste
it in the export card, or, for the bot, open it from the new identity
first and paste it in that chat.
- New strings in every locale; the spec and the automation identifiers
  follow.

Walkthrough

Reputation rebinding now supports separate authorizations for the active Mostro and lnp2pBot. The screen offers bot signing even when the active node does not advertise a reputation issuer. Localizations, confirmation text, automation identifiers, contract documentation, and tests cover the two signing destinations.

Full details: Description check

Explanation

The description is detailed and covers the linked issue, change rationale, affected flow, blast radius, platforms, manual test steps, automated tests, checklist, and AI assistance. It clearly states that manual testing and screenshots are still pending, but the required information is otherwise substantially complete.

Full details: Linked Issues check

Explanation

The PR meets the coding requirements in directly linked issue #880. ReputationScreen always renders a rebind card, shows the bot action without a node issuer, and passes lnp2pbotIssuerKey to signRebind. The node action remains conditional on the node issuer. The confirmation dialog and result text use separate node and lnp2pBot instructions. Tests cover bot signing without node export, issuer selection, refusal handling, node signing, privacy mode, and layout. No additional active coding requirement is provided by parent issue #674.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check

Explanation

The changes stay within #880. The new issuer constant, automation identifier, screen changes, localized text, generated localization code, specification update, and tests all support the lnp2pBot rebind flow or its regression coverage. The existing Rust API, bridge, persisted data, order status, and dispute status remain unchanged. No unrelated change is demonstrated.

Explanation

No functions found in the changed files to evaluate docstring coverage. Skipping docstring coverage check. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff. Analyzed 0 functions across 0 files. (21 skipped: 21 unsupported.)
