### Livestream API

We launched the [Livestream API](/livestream-api/introduction) for creating and managing live video broadcasts on X. It covers the full broadcast lifecycle: persistent RTMP/RTMPS [stream sources](/livestream-api/sources/overview), [broadcasts](/livestream-api/broadcasts/overview), [scheduled broadcasts](/livestream-api/scheduled-broadcasts/overview) (one-time and recurring), and [live chat](/livestream-api/chat/accessing-live-chat) (send, read, delete messages, and mute users).
