Opening the asset browser now moves it into a real floating VS Code window. The browser fills that window instead of drawing a centered popup frame, while retaining the larger thumbnails and existing action icons. Restored panels keep their saved placement; if detaching fails, the browser remains available in its editor tab.

Validation:

  • TypeScript, ESLint, and webpack build passed.
  • All 120 webview tests passed.
  • Real VS Code CodeLens test passed, including the separate-window assertion.
  • The fast Node suite reached the webview harness but is blocked by a missing worktree-relative war3-model shader source; the preceding harnesses passed.
