"Show Preview Window" always uses internal previewer

When the "Show Previewer Window" button is pressed while using a language that requires the external previewer, Workbench will just always launch the demo in the external JavaScript previewer (presumably using the JavaScript demo code?)

Do you mean "Show Preview Window"?
It is the same here, but after a few seconds (5?) it will be replaced with the "Windowed Preview" text, the window will not be shown and an error will be printed in the console:

Also somehow related - opening the demo will automatically show the JavaScript preview, regardless of the selected language.

I know it's not super clear - hopefully we can solve the design flaw with #849
