ESP32-CAM Smart Bin is standalone Arduino firmware that photographs each deposited item and sends it to Google's Gemini API for classification. A servo then sorts it into a recyclable or residual compartment, and an OLED shows the item name, weight and CO2 estimate. It needs no backend and fails closed: any error sends the item to residual.
