Feature: Add a flag to hide the sidebar.

Hi,

having the “History”, “Local Changes”, and “Stashes” sections available as they were in the old layout was much more convenient and made it quicker to navigate between them.

That said, the new branch creation flow is a significant improvement over the previous one.

I’ve been using the product for about three years now, and I’ve always been very happy with the way the free version has been maintained and improved over time.

I do not understand. These three button are still there. They are not deleted.

Hi, sorry if I didn’t explain myself clearly. What I meant was whether it would be possible to put the three sections back above the branch list instead of having them as a side menu.

Simply because I always have the branch list in front of me, and I know what I’m working on.

I still do not understand. As I said, they are not deleted, but moved to sidebar. You can always see these three buttons.

Move page switcher to sidebar is because:

1. Save space for LOCAL BRACHES/REMOTES/TAGS...

2. It makes room for future extensions. For example, adding a page integrated with the GitHub Pull Request, or adding a page for interactive operations with AI Agents. As more and more features are added, the original design will become increasingly inconvenient.

BTW, which version of SourceGit are you using?

I hadn't considered future integrations like GitHub or other extensions.

Personally, I preferred the previous design and was wondering if it might be possible to add a toggle or setting to switch between the old and new layout?
