Node publication is failing while resolving the ECR mirror with 429 Too Many Requests / toomanyrequests: Data limit exceeded, leaving required Node 26 tags unpublished and blocking web-tools #44. Example: failed Node 26/JDK 21 job.

Pull the same official Node images directly from Docker Hub, which the workflow already logs into before building. The image versions, manifests, build matrix and destination registries remain unchanged.

Validation:

  • Docker Hub returned HTTP 200 for 22.23.4-slim, 24.22.1-slim and 26.12.1-slim; all expose amd64 and arm64 manifests.
  • Confirmed each manifest digest matches the ECR-backed image used previously; the diff changes one FROM reference.
  • Passed git diff --check. The local donor-stage build could not finish because this Docker daemon's Docker Hub request ended with EOF; an end-to-end build on GitHub Actions remains pending.

- Use the registry already authenticated by the build workflow
- Avoid ECR data-limit failures while publishing supported Node images
- Preserve the official image tags and manifest contents
