WalkthroughBunker client revocation now updates authorization state, denylisting, and bunker credentials. Service lifecycle handling covers stopped services and earlier revocations. Revoking a NIP-46 client did not keep it out. The connect secret in the bunker URL is reusable, and a connect that presents it is accepted without a prompt, so a revoked client that kept the URL could connect again under a fresh key. Anything the core auto-approves for that connection is signed without reaching the app's denylist, which only runs when the core asks for approval.
Changes
BunkerService.revokeClients. Revoke All takes its set from the saved config and the service's authorized and in-flight clients rather than the screen's copy, every path removes the client's stored entry, and a connect still being saved can no longer undo a revoke that lands meanwhile.Stopgaps
Under the app's Rust multi-platform split, revocation is core policy. This change keeps it in the app only until the core owns it, and each piece is marked with what replaces it: the start-time revoke of denylisted clients and the second rotation go once the core clears persisted grants on a revoke with no running bunker; the check after an approval prompt goes once the core re-checks the client's permission there; and the denylist, the one-time upgrade rotation and rotating on every revoke go once the core records revocations itself and invalidates only the connect secret.
Tests
RevokedClientSetTestcovers the set a single revoke and Revoke All act on.BunkerRevokeE2ETestdrives every revoke path end to end: the real bunker service on a public relay, the real Bunker and App Permissions screens, and a real NIP-46 client on the host (testharness/nip46probe). It checks that a client's remembered grant signs after a plain restart, and is refused after a revoke made while the bunker was stopped; that after each revoke path, Revoke All included, the old URL no longer connects while the new one does over the same relay and the client's stored entry is gone; and that a prompt approved after its client was revoked does not sign. Removing the start sweep, the prompt re-check, or the rotation on a single revoke each makes it fail on the matching check. It is manual-only (testharness/nip46probe/run-revoke-e2e.sh), restores the device's accounts and bunker settings afterwards, and recovers them on the next run if a run is killed.BunkerRevokeRotationTest(manual, uses a public relay like the FROST tests) starts a real bunker, checks that a restart alone keeps the URL, rotates with the service stopped, and checks that the connect secret and bunker key both change. With the standalone rotation removed it fails on the secret check. It also checks that an earlier revoke rotates the URL exactly once, and that nothing rotates when no client was ever revoked.Summary by CodeRabbit
