Conversation
Replace ad hoc workflows with thin callers to the reusable CI in poissonconsulting/.github (R-CMD-check, test-coverage, pkgdown), removing any fledge callers (fledge now runs centrally from poissonconsulting/fledgerunner). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Closes #22.
Standardizes CI onto the reusable workflows in
poissonconsulting/.github(tier important, private=false, jags=false, cmdstan=false, tex=false). Callers: R-CMD-check, test-coverage, pkgdown; fledge callers removed (fledge now runs centrally frompoissonconsulting/fledgerunner).Opened as a draft: please mark it ready for review once its checks pass, then merge.
Why fledge is moving, and what it means for you
What fledge does (unchanged): each night it bumps the package's dev version (e.g. 0.3.0.9001 to 0.3.0.9002), adds your commit messages to
NEWS.md, and tags the new version. What this PR changes: only where that nightly job runs. The two
fledge-*workflow files this PR deletes are replaced by one central job inpoissonconsulting/fledgerunner, which handles every package from the night after this merges. Why:
What changes for you: almost nothing. Keep committing as usual (clear commit messages still become
NEWS.md), don't hand-editNEWS.mdor the dev version, andCRAN-SUBMISSIONstill pauses bumps. After a release you still merge the "Start dev cycle" PR; its tag is now added by the next nightly run. To bump immediately, ask Joe to run it from fledgerunner.Full details:
