Source and hardware rationale

The public repository contains modifiable source code, tests, descriptor
configuration, a camera-only appliance example, and a hardware disclosure.
The project runs on off-the-shelf Linux hardware with a USB peripheral
controller and does not require a custom PCB. A stable PID is needed so hosts
can identify this UVC implementation consistently without using another
vendor's identity.

The requested PID has not been used in redistributed or manufactured devices.
Private testing uses pid.codes test identity 1209:0001 only.
