Summary

  • TestGen keeps generating four non-field suites from typesValidation: end-to-end cases, BuildValidationCode tests, validator function tests, and ValidGen vs GoValidator benchmarks.
  • Operation checks, condition-table checks, parser tests, and examples stay hand-written. Field-operation suites stay with integer field operations in Implement support for fields operations with integer types #78. dive stays in Feat: implement dive Tag #7.
  • make unittests now runs ./testgen/, which fails if that case list drops an accepted type or the generated error text drifts from the catalog.

Fixes #98

Test plan

  • make unittests
  • make endtoendtests
  • CI build job

Record which suites TestGen should generate and fail when that case list drifts from the condition table.
