LCOV works with existing environment-specific profiling mechanisms including,
but not limited to, the gcov tool that is part of the GNU Compiler Collection
(GCC).
(GCC), the llvm-profdata and llvm-cov tools which are part of LLVM,
JaCoCo, Devel::Cover, and Coverage.py.
It currently supports line, function, branch, MC/DC and callgraph metrics.
