Would it be possible to add support for ringer sliders? #2255

What feature would you like added?

I know that no modern phones have them, very unfortunately. But I recently bought a refurb OnePlus Open, which does have one, and I gotta say it's really nice having a physical switch so you can mute/unmute your phone without looking.

It got me thinking though. The switch has 3 states, which you could really do a lot with. For instance, setting it to silent could also minimize the brightness and disable AOD, like a diy theater mode. That's just one example, I'm sure you can think of more.

Key Mapper does support the switch... but only halfway... Expert mode recognizes changing the switches state as a key press. The same keypress no matter which position you set the switch to. So it can't be used like I outlined above, so there's really no useful remaps for it that I can think of. Besides showing the volume dialogue when moving the switch, but that's only marginally useful.

I can't really justify dev time being spent adding such niche support, other than it would be awesome, but you gotta admit it would be awesome.

Btw just for the record I'm totally happy to test out whatever you need if you dont have access to a relevant device, assuming you decide to add this to the pile.
