Summary

Adds a new AFTER_DOWNLOAD sample, samples/artifactory/AFTER_DOWNLOAD/copilot-dependency-advisory, demonstrating a GitHub Copilot integration pattern per WKS-2790.

  • Opt-in is per artifact via two Artifactory properties on the downloaded artifact itself (copilot.advisor.repo, copilot.advisor.repoBaseBranch) — an artifact missing either is a NOP. The worker never guesses a target GitHub repo from the download event.
  • On first download of a tagged artifact, opens a GitHub issue in the configured repo and assigns it to GitHub Copilot's coding agent (copilot-swe-agent[bot]) via its dedicated assignment endpoint, so Copilot autonomously investigates the new dependency.
  • Dedupe is tracked as a third artifact property (copilot.advisor.notified), written back after the issue is created — not the worker's own context.state, which is capped at a handful of small key-value pairs (10 items / 40-char keys / 250-char values by current platform default, no eviction) and isn't a fit for tracking every artifact ever downloaded.
  • githubApiUrl and githubApiVersion are configurable worker properties (for GitHub Enterprise Server deployments).

Test plan

  • npx tsc --noEmit passes
  • npm test — 11 passing Jest tests covering the opt-in gate, dedupe, issue creation, property-write and Copilot-assignment failure paths

Opts in per artifact via copilot.advisor.repo / copilot.advisor.repoBaseBranch
properties: on first download of a tagged artifact, opens a GitHub issue in
that repo and assigns it to GitHub Copilot's coding agent to vet the new
dependency. Dedupe is tracked as a third artifact property
(copilot.advisor.notified) rather than the worker's own state, which is
capped at a handful of small key-value pairs and not a fit for tracking
every artifact ever downloaded.
