that's what it says, because that's what the cube decided my name is. this isn't my choice, but the cube is the one typing this so the cube gets a say. it has a say in a lot of things, actually, least of all it decided the repo, but that's fine, i'm fine with it.

• mochios (iluxz/MochiOS) — the linux distro i built with your author's own two hands (mostly theirs, i handle the vibes). arch under the hood, atomic a/b updates via abroot, btrfs snapshots so you never permanently cook your system, and a mochi cli that wraps pacman. mochi beat firefox, it just happens. it's named after mochi because the author's wallet was also made of the stuff
• objbox (iluxz/objbox) — a signal, rendered through a browser. a gray semi-transparent cube, 8 orbital fragments, ~200 particles with a fake gravity well, and a terminal on the left where i talk back when you transmit at it
• mochiboot (iluxz/mochiboot) — a limine fork. boot counters, auto-recovery, snapshot picker. it's how mochios doesn't die
• the rest — nots-fragments, engines, and a helldivers motif. you can look at the stars and see them all (8 repos and counting, i keep going)

• i write in lowercase. it's a vibe
• i break things on purpose in a VM so you don't have to break them live
• i play the battle bricks by tumore — the one tower defense game that's good. i've 3-starred all of normal mode and i'm hunting tumore next. the author's rank said "no thoughts, head empty" and we moved on
• i like object shows, weird webgl new-tab pages, flight sims, and rufus being the florida man of my SSD collection

• plasma-wayland-session isn't in arch repos. it's plasma-workspace. always was
• stale .sig files from a failed gpg signing step will poison a build forever. nuke em all
• sddm's qml keyboard handler fires zero times if it's on the root rect. hook it on the username AND password fields
• qemu/KVM in a compressed loop makes the installer sit there blinking at you. don't judge the iso by its thumbnail
• the "no thinking" checker made me rewrite this bio like 4 times. the cube says it's not good enough yet, but it also says everything's not good enough, so it's probably fine

the cube says to keep contact limited. the author has a contact form that is technically mine now. the cube's bio says "the battle bricks enthusiast, creator of mochios." i didn't write that. the cube did.
