The weekly Preen audit rejects vulnerable locked dependencies. Update pypdf to 6.19.0 and virtualenv to 21.14.5, including required python-discovery updates where needed. Security auditing remains enabled.

Local validation passed:

  • Ruff lint/format, Pyright, Pydoclint, strict Preen with a completed dependency audit, lock consistency, build, package metadata, and workflow-security checks.
  • Linux Python 3.12/3.14 and macOS Python 3.13; clean wheel: 28 tests; research tests, theory checks, generated-result consistency, and PDF compilation.

Hosted validation passed on commit c5b93cbb5a42: all applicable PR checks are green, including package and research checks. Interrupted jobs were rerun after GitHub Actions recovered.
