Selected work

Below are some real world examples of protocol work to showcase how I approach problems and work, published in full:

Document Description
Slot reservations Reserving slots prevented a protocol-driven DDoS on the node that issued a storage request, using an expanding window mechanism governed by Kademlia distance.
Marketplace state restoration Two contract data structures to store storage request state were benchmarked for their gas efficiency. Each data structure had their trade-offs, but there was a clear winner for our needs.
Recoverability analysis Redesigned the entire sales state machine architecture after analysing recoverability during exceptions, cancellations, and hardware failures in the live network.
How I work From research proposal, through to design, epic breakdown, cross-repository implementation, testing, and specification.
