Hello, I'm Diego!

Backend Engineer at Cencosud (top-3 LATAM retailer), building Go microservices for a multi-country e-commerce platform serving 5+ countries.

I'm from Uruguay - (GMT -3) (LATAM)

I speak Spanish (native) and English

What I'm working on

  • Day job: Go microservices, REST/gRPC, PostgreSQL.
  • Open source: Some small contributions to Apache DataFusion
  • Side project: From ECS Bevy simulations, to Axum backend projects, and accounting software made in Tauri 2.0
  • Free time: I have a Rust reimplementation of the TFS OpenTibia Server
