How to retrieve original aiohttp handler request object? #246
Get the original request object
Need to get an async background worker object (redis pool) from the request object. The request object is now a dict. Suspect it is in the *args tuple, but what is the correct way to go about retrieving the request object from this tuple?
What I Did
Paste the command(s) you ran and the output.
If there was a crash, please include the traceback here.
The original request object is the second argument: handlers are called as handler(parsed_json, request), so request.app["redis_pool"] etc. is available directly. As of v2.0 (#754) this is documented in the README with an example.
