Summary

Closes #670.

run_all documents a delay between jobs, but currently also waits after the final job. Move the sleep before each job except the first, keeping the snapshot and job order unchanged. Add a regression test for zero, one and three jobs, and an unreleased history entry.

Validation

  • Regression test fails before the fix for a single job (unexpected trailing sleep).
  • Linux / Python 3.10.12: python -m pytest test_schedule.py schedule -q --cov=schedule --cov-report=term-missing — 82 passed, 99% coverage.
  • python -m mypy -p schedule — passed.
  • Black 20.8b1 applied to changed Python files.
  • python -m build — sdist and wheel built successfully.
  • git diff --check — passed.

AI disclosure: prepared with OpenAI Codex assistance; the behavior was found through code inspection and reproduced locally. No production incident is claimed.

Hosted CI: GitHub Actions run 38985187630 is action_required (external contribution approval required); hosted tests have not run yet.
