schedule.every(5).to(3).seconds.do(job)raises an error saying thatlatestis greater thaninterval, although 3 is smaller than 5.Correct the message and make the existing invalid-range test check it. The assertion fails before the fix.
Validation on Python 3.11 with pytest 8.3.5: all 81 tests pass, with 99% coverage. Black 20.8b1, mypy, and
git diff --checkpass. The documented--flake8check reports existing lint failures on unchanged upstream too; those are outside this correction.Codex helped with the fix and validation.
