The changes add support for VC versions v1, v1.1, and v2. They expand credential types, add version-aware credential mapping and schema generation, and update issuance DTOs and OID4VC helpers to handle version and validity-date fields.
Changes: Versioned VC issuance
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Version and credential contracts libs/common/src/vc/*, libs/common/src/constants/*, libs/common/src/interfaces/*, libs/enum/src/enum.ts, apps/issuance/interfaces/issuance.interfaces.ts
Shared modules define the supported versions, default version, and context URLs. Credential interfaces add validity and metadata fields and allow additional issuer, subject, and credential shapes.
Credential shaping and date updates libs/common/src/vc/*, libs/common/src/cast.helper.ts
The shared mapper builds version-aware contexts and credential fields. OOB payload creation uses the mapper. Date updates support validFrom and skip entries without credentials.
Issuance DTOs add version defaults and validation, and the W3C schema builder varies its context and required fields by version. OID4VC credential construction adds validity fields. The conformance specification documents version shapes and related changes.
The new VC 2.0 support does not work end to end: v2 requests that use validFrom are rejected by the DTOs, and the selected version never reaches OID4VC issuance or schema creation. A scheduled credential's future start date can also be reset to the current time. Default v1.1 issuance is unchanged, but these gaps should be fixed before merge.

Allow v2 credentials without issuanceDate in this DTO.
validFrom is now accepted, but W3cCredentialDto.issuanceDate remains required at Lines 100–102. A v2 credential with validFrom and no deprecated issuanceDate fails validation before the agent service can process it. Make date validation depend on the credential context, or accept either start-date field. VC DM 2.0 uses validFrom and makes it optional. (w3.org)

Accept the v2 start-date field on versioned credentials.
Credential now accepts version: 'v2', but Lines 95–99 still require issuanceDate and the class has no validated validFrom property. A request containing only the v2 validFrom field is rejected. Validate the appropriate start-date fields for each version instead of requiring the v1 field for every request. VC DM 2.0 uses validFrom in place of issuanceDate. (w3.org)

Carry the requested version into OID4VC credential construction.
This DTO accepts v2, but CredentialRequestDtoLike in apps/oid4vc-issuance/libs/helpers/credential-sessions.builder.ts has no version field. That builder still constructs a credential with the v1 context, and apps/oid4vc-issuance/libs/helpers/issuer.metadata.ts advertises the v1 context for both affected formats. A caller selecting v2 cannot obtain the requested v2 credential through this construction path. Pass the version to the builder and select matching credential and metadata contexts.

Pass the schema’s requested version from the service.
The supplied call in apps/ledger/src/schema/schema.service.ts passes only three arguments to w3cSchemaBuilder. As a result, that path always selects v1.1; the new v2 required-field and context branches never run for schemas created through it. Carry the selected version to this call while retaining v1.1 as the default for requests that omit it.

Do not replace a future validFrom with today’s date.
If a v2 credential has a future validFrom, this comparison treats the date as stale and changes it to now. That makes a scheduled credential valid early. Check whether the caller intends to refresh an issuance timestamp before changing the credential’s validity period; preserve an explicitly supplied future validFrom.

Put the base context first even when it is already present.
If existingContext is ['https://example.org/claims', VC_CONTEXT_V2], this branch leaves that order unchanged. VC DM 2.0 requires VC_CONTEXT_V2 to be the first context. Move the selected base context to index zero after removing its existing occurrence. (w3.org)
