The title says a patch bump, but the lockfile moves two packages: @tanstack/solid-virtual 3.13.21 -> 3.13.40 and its exact dependency @tanstack/virtual-core 3.13.21 -> 3.17.11, four minor versions. Nothing else added or removed. MIT. The signatures we use (createVirtualizer with count/getScrollElement/estimateSize/overscan, getTotalSize, getVirtualItems, measureElement, scrollToOffset, scrollToIndex) are unchanged.
Behaviour does change, verified in the shipped dist:
- Solid adapter 3.13.32: the reactive-options effect no longer calls
virtualizer.measure()(which clears the size cache) and instead reconciles in place. Our lists passcountas a getter that changes on every appended row, so measured row heights now persist across appends instead of resetting toestimateSize. - virtual-core 3.15 / 3.17.6: scroll-position compensation on resize is skipped while scrolling backward and applies only to items entirely above the fold; sync DOM reads during scroll are skipped when cached; measured nodes with index >= count are ignored.
No test loads these components (virtual-list.tsx, calls/calls-list.tsx), so the green test job is not evidence. Worth a manual run of the console and calls lists (scrolling, appends, resize) before merging. The audit failure is pre-existing on main and unrelated.
