Port of ChalkGRPCClient.trigger_aggregate_backfill from chalkpy (the 'chalk aggregate backfill' CLI route). Calls AggregateService CreateAggregateBackfillV2 on the API server over an authenticated server channel. Servers that predate it answer UNIMPLEMENTED, and the client falls back to PlanAggregateBackfill + CreateAggregateBackfillJob + GetAggregateBackfillJob, except for planOnly/numShards requests. Both paths decode into AggregateBackfillResponse. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
