What

Follow-up to #1385, which lets hosted MCP calls act in any of the account's workspaces. Copy that said a grant covers exactly one workspace is now wrong:

  • Consent screen (/oauth/consent, shown only to accounts with more than one workspace): the picker label changes from "Workspace" to "Default workspace", with one muted line under it: "It can also use your other workspaces when a request names one or works in a repo linked to it."
  • auth.md: the OAuth section describes the default workspace, the workspaces claim, and per-call choice with workspace or repo.
  • .well-known/integrations.json: the same correction in the OAuth setup text.
  • uploads-cli skill (and its synced plugin copy): the hosted MCP whoami line mentions workspaces and the per-call choice.

/docs/mcp was already updated in #1385.

Tests

pnpm check, pnpm --filter @uploads/web test (1348 passed), node scripts/sync-plugin-skills.mjs. No screenshot: the picker only renders for a signed-in account with two workspaces.

Generated by Claude Code

The hosted MCP now acts in any of the account's workspaces per call, so
the consent picker reads "Default workspace" with a one-line hint, and
auth.md, integrations.json and the uploads-cli skill describe the
workspaces claim and per-call choice.

No uploads on this PR yet

This PR changes UI files (apps/web/src/pages/oauth/consent.astro). Screenshots help reviewers see what changed.

  • From the CLI: uploads put before.png after.png --pr 1386
  • From an agent: ask it to attach screenshots with uploads.sh
  • By hand: drag images into the PR description and they're imported automatically
Tips for agents

Label each shot so reviewers know what they're seeing. Labels apply to every file in a call, so run one put per shot:

uploads put after.png --pr 1386 --meta path=/settings --state after --caption "Saved settings toast"
uploads put chat.png --pr 1386 --app ios --screen "Chat" --state after

No CLI? With the Uploads MCP, call sign_upload_url for files on disk (or put) with repo, pr: 1386 and the same screen, state and caption fields.

This comment updates with each upload, so you don't need to post the images yourself. A shot or two in the PR description is still welcome. Check what's attached with uploads list --pr 1386. More in the github-screenshots skill or the agent docs.
