The old audits reduced each citation to its opening chapter:verse with a two-verse tolerance, and data/goa2026.txt kept only that fingerprint, so they could not see pericope-boundary errors and reported 99.1% while dozens of readings a year ended in the wrong place. - data/goarch_readings_2018_2027.json: goarch.org's full citations for every civil date, 2018-2027, harvested from the month grid. - tools/greek/goa_verse_audit.py: compares app(Greek) Epistles and Gospels with it by verse set (KJV chapter lengths), per year, with --list and --recurring views. Currently 6,599 of 6,696 (98.6%). - docs/greek-lectionary.md: replace the opening-verse figures with the verse-set ones, say why the old number was wrong, and turn the "one-verse difference is benign" note into a trap. The tools README points at the new audit. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
goa_verse_audit.py --recurring over 2018-2027 showed readings that goarch.org prints year after year and the app misses. Each one below is corroborated by antiochian.org on every date it covers (fetched for the purpose where the standing harvest had none): - Boundaries: Acts 9:19-31 (Saturday of the 3rd week of Pascha, not 9:20-31), Ephesians 4:14-17 (pdist 165, not 4:14-19) and Luke 4:38-44 (pdist 176, not 4:37-44). - Menaion Gospels: Luke 6:12-19 for Simon the Zealot on May 10 (Slavic keeps Matt 13:54-58) and Luke 21:12-19 for Eustathius on Sep 20. 1 Timothy 4:4-8 (pdist 229) is left out: antiochian.org keeps verse 16 on every date goarch.org drops it. Accuracy by verse set goes from 98.6% to 99.0%; Slavic output is unchanged for 2018-2027 on both calendars. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

1. A verse-set audit against a full goarch.org harvest
The old Greek audits (
goa_gap.py,three_way.py,year_diff.py) reduced each citation to its opening chapter:verse and accepted a match within two verses, anddata/goa2026.txtstored only that fingerprint. They couldn't see pericope-boundary errors, which is how the docs ended up claiming 99.1%.data/goarch_readings_2018_2027.json: goarch.org's full citations for every civil date from 2018 through 2027.tools/greek/goa_verse_audit.py: compares the app's Greek Epistles and Gospels with that harvest by verse set, using KJV chapter lengths. It reports per year, and has--listand--recurringviews.docs/greek-lectionary.md: the accuracy section now uses verse-set figures and explains why the old 99.1% was wrong. The note calling "a one-verse opening difference usually benign" is now listed as a trap.tools/greek/README.mdpoints to the new audit.2. Five readings found by
--recurringEach is printed by goarch.org across many years, and corroborated by antiochian.org on every date it covers. I fetched antiochian.org for the dates its standing harvest lacked.
Left out: 1 Timothy 4:4-8 (pdist 229). goarch.org drops verse 16, but antiochian.org keeps it on all four dates, so the sources disagree.
