In Aug 2026, I completed 3 years of service as a Systems Software Developer at Sagence AI Corporation, Santa Clara, CA, USA (remote). There, I collaborated with cross-functional Research and Development (R&D) teams across Sri Lanka, India, and the USA to build a novel analog in-memory AI inference accelerator. Engaged through Paraqum Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd., a Sri Lanka-based design services partner.
- Engineered Assembly microcode (custom ISA) and Python APIs for: 1) wafer sorting, 2) Multi-Level Cell (MLC) weight programming, and 3) memory characterisation of the accelerator chip.
- Accelerated weight programming and full-chip characterisation time from hours to minutes through parallelised computing block weight loading & inference, NumPy vectorisation and necessary driver upgrades.
- Architected a full-stack internal GUI application using AI-assisted development tools to manage input vectors, run hardware inference pipelines, and analyse performance metrics.

In June 2023, I completed the Final Year Project of my undergraduate degree program, AutoPilotX: an Advanced autonomous navigation technology designed specifically for outdoor, semi-structured, and terrain-based applications.
- Developed a generic field robot with autonomous navigation capable of operating in a semi-structured outdoor environment, focusing on: 1) optimal fusion of LiDAR, Vision, IMU & RTK sensors for precise pose estimation, 2) Robot Operating System (ROS1)-based software stack.
- The potential applications include precision agriculture, autonomous security, autonomous carts, disaster management, and research.

In July 2022, I completed my undergraduate-level internship at a local Research and Development facility, where I worked on Machine Vision-based Real-Time Motion Planning for an Articulated Robot Arm,
