Review original page content, recruitment, sponsors, and barebones layout #25
Content decisions and final checks are complete in PR #35; merged and deployed. Updated September 10, 2026.
Restore the original hero description, with corrected school name/current link and the separately requested sentence about current work. Broader description changes require Tim’s approval.
Retain approved recruitment guidance, owner/review dates, layout, member grid, highlights, and consistent dividers.
Describe all seven sponsors as Past and present support, exactly as confirmed by the maintainer.
Preserve the approved Allen School sidebar wording.
Redirect empty Research → Publications, Pictures → Team, and About website → Home. Keep fallback links/canonicals, omit empty sections from the sitemap, and retain template credit in README.
Verify that populated future sections keep their content and sitemap entries instead of redirecting.
Record decisions and validate the export and navigation.
No new recruiting claim or sponsor relationship was inferred. Evidence: content model, QA.
Deployment verified: run 34545126097, commit 542656f. The live homepage, all nine current members, representative routes/downloads, redirects, and desktop/phone rendering passed.
Post-launch content review — September 9, 2026\n\nThe live site still carries the imported claims that a postdoc position is available, that the lab is looking for PhD students, and that current research includes informing the COVID-19 response. It also displays the seven imported sponsor logos. These are exactly the time-sensitive/editorial items this issue flags; I did not rewrite or remove them without lab confirmation.\n\nThe next content decision should be whether the postdoc/PhD wording is currently approved. If it is not confirmed, the safest content PR is to remove the unverified opening from navigation/content until an owner and review date are supplied.
