Keep tutorial screenshots under the already-ignored .expo/screenshots/ and drop the /screenshots/ line from .gitignore, because Expo's fingerprint hashes .gitignore and that line changed the app's native cache key.

Before After
Before: dark gray title After: purple title

How it was verified

  • Device: stim-demo2 (iPhone 18 Pro, iOS 27.0) simulator
  • Readiness: Stim waited for the app to report ready before the screenshots (5.9s)
  • Build: 3m49s full native build; the cache missed because docs: agent instructions and a before/after PR template #2's .gitignore line moved the fingerprint
  • Logs: stim logs --errors found no errors

The screenshots come from a throwaway dry-run worktree that made the title purple (not part of this diff). With this change, npx fingerprint fingerprint:generate --platform ios gives the same hash with and without files in .expo/screenshots/, and the template, AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md and README are not fingerprint sources.

Built and verified with Stim.

Nice change, @janicduplessis! Thanks for trying Stim. This repo is the Stim tutorial app, so we close tutorial PRs automatically. See you in your next worktree.

If Stim saved you some time, a ⭐ on appandflow/stim would make our day.
