Part of the player release work (Windows installers, Linux tarballs, tag-triggered release builds), with matching PRs in the engine, PinMAME, DMD, PinUp, URP and player repos.

  • unity: Linux natives in Linux players (with the libserialport.so.0 / libsockpp.so.1 sonames), macOS import settings per CPU.
  • dmd: without colorization the in-scene DMD and the presentation output stayed dark. The passthrough source offered gray 2/4/8-bit and RGB, and LibDmd's render graph connects each destination once, to the first exact match (gray 2-bit and RGB here), while PinMAME sends 8-bit frames. An uncolorized source now offers one format (8-bit gray or RGB) and the pipeline is rebuilt when frames switch between them. The in-scene destination logs its first frame. New test in ManagedDmdInputTests.

The ignore rule for versioned .so files also swallowed their .meta files, so the Linux
natives had no import settings and weren't included in player builds. libusb, libserialport,
libserum and libzedmd are now enabled for Linux, the versioned duplicates and libcargs are
left out, and the build deploys libserialport.so.0 and libsockpp.so.1, which libzedmd loads
by soname.

Summary

Adds Linux native-library import settings and soname copies, sets macOS import settings, and fixes uncolorized DMD output.

  • Uncolorized DMD frames reach displays in the format they support.
  • Unity imports the native libraries for Linux and macOS builds.
