Checks and fixes EBU STL teletext subtitles for ARTE delivery: GSI header/language, blank control subtitle, 25 fps conversion around the programme start, frame-accurate time codes, display durations, two-line rebalance/split, teletext rows, colors, italics, spaces and minimum gaps. Rules ported from subtitleedit#15185 (Triathlon-rally). Uses the new subtitle.header / subtitle.paragraphs / rules contract so the EBU header and teletext rows survive the round trip; falls back to SubRip on older Subtitle Edit builds. Plugin-Shared gains the matching types. UI: settings sidebar, grouped findings with corrections and alarms, 40-cell teletext previews, apply-and-recheck with undo, text report. A new SE5 plugin, ARTE check. It checks EBU STL teletext subtitles against ARTE's delivery rules and fixes what can be fixed safely. Problems that need a person are listed as alarms. The rules are ported from the Check and Fix ARTE Errors tool by @Triathlon-rally in SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit#15185.
It depends on SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit#15658, which adds
subtitle.header/subtitle.paragraphs/rulesto the plugin contract. That is the only way the EBU header and the teletext rows survive a plugin round trip. On older SE builds the plugin falls back to SubRip and skips the header and row checks.Checks: header and language per profile (STA, STF, HG DEU, HG FRA), optional programme-start shift (updates TCP), the 5-frame blank control subtitle, 23.976/24/29.97/30 → 25 fps conversion around the programme start, frame-accurate time codes, display durations with reading tolerance, two-line rebalance or split inside the time range, teletext rows 22/20 for double height, colors (yellow or none, SDH maps to the 8 teletext colors), italics, spaces, and minimum gaps shared between the out and in times.
