Adds
Vision.carve(image, width, height)for content-aware shrinking with minimum-energy seams. Each seam is a globally minimum-cost connected path through RGB gradient energy; energy is recalculated after removal. Width is reduced before height, surviving RGBA pixels are copied exactly, and the source remains unchanged.Public documentation includes reproducible Valve examples, published and visually verified at https://spacebubble-io.pages.dev/vision/docs/carve. Both hosted PNGs match the generated files byte for byte.
The release audit fixes false-green Node test reporting, Node exception/browser compatibility, JavaScript job callbacks, Neko module loading with full DCE, and quiet-mode compile failures. It updates the 2.2.0 notes, removes the unused utest runtime dependency, and adds package-only building that preserves earlier candidates.
cppia qualification
The blocker is resolved with a versioned host compatibility patch against hxcpp
ceb70d040f0792f004ccf1ed7eb6fcea01d7f3ff, built with Haxe 4.3.7. It fixes dynamic-array resize and fractional reads, typed/generic array interoperability and length handling. Vision algorithms and test expectations are unchanged by this repair. No targets or failing tests are excluded. The build helper and Dockerfile are under
tests/ci/cppia/; release ZIPs include the same helper and patch undercppia/. The supported configuration is the patched interpreter host. The unpatched host fails; JIT mode is not qualified.Validation
All twelve target jobs pass in https://github.com/ShaharMS/Vision/actions/runs/40022688691. Interpreter, Node and patched cppia each pass 619 methods, including four new runtime regressions. A fresh Docker build passes through the actual local CI runner. The packaged helper rebuilds idempotently. Library compilation, standalone package smoke checks, hosted image verification and ZIP runtime-helper byte checks pass.
Final evidence:
.cursor/realized/seam-carving-5-release-readiness.mdand.cursor/realized/seam-carving-5g-cppia-runtime.md.This PR is stacked on the Hough/Harris branch used by #53. Merge it into that branch before #53 proceeds to dev. Haxelib submission and release tagging remain explicit release actions. Native/Node JPEG decoding and WebP remain optional enhancement backlog.
