AI assistance

OpenAI Codex assisted with the configuration and verification. The host-selected model version is not exposed to this session.

What changed

Add repository-level CodeRabbit configuration so reviews prioritize correctness, security, and signal artifact integrity.

  • Select the assertive review profile and enable automatic approvals only up to low merge risk.
  • Disable author-issued approval commands and automatic label application.
  • Retain reviews.request_changes_workflow: true, a deprecated but schema-supported alias, alongside reviews.auto_approvals.enabled: true.
  • Add path instructions referencing AGENTS.md and covering trading and execution boundaries, risk controls, provenance, freshness, deployments, workflow trust, and secrets.

How verified

  • Parsed the YAML and validated it against the current official CodeRabbit JSON Schema: passed.
  • Checked the keys against the configuration reference and automatic approval documentation.
  • ruff check . with Ruff 0.15.22: passed.
  • python scripts/check_style.py: passed, with no blocking or advisory findings.
  • python -m build: built the source distribution and wheel.
  • git diff --check: passed.
  • python -m pytest tests -q: three failures in the existing historical root publisher tests on macOS. The publisher explicitly requires Linux no-clobber primitives. A focused rerun reproduced the same three failures; Linux CI remains the relevant platform check.

Risk and rollback

This changes review behavior only. Automatic approval requires CodeRabbit's normal review conditions and a current merge risk assessment within the configured limit. Existing risk-gate logic and branch protection are unchanged. Revert .coderabbit.yaml to roll back the configuration.

Breaking changes

None.
