Problem

The CI test command runs from the repository root, but coverage was configured for a src package that does not exist in this project. Tests passed while coverage reported that no data was collected and no coverage report could be generated.

Change

Measure the actual repository layout from .. Exclude tests, external dependency checkouts and the virtual environment. Branch coverage and the remaining test and coverage settings are unchanged.

Verification

TOML parsing, patch application and independent configuration review passed. The local environment did not have coverage or pytest installed. Repository CI must produce nonempty source measurements and an XML report without the prior no-data warning before merge.

The existing draft dependency-facade PR edits separate dependency pin fields in this file; its changes remain independent.
