Shorter map refresh interval in home assistant

I set this up whitout any hassle, loving it!

The official home assistant integration refreshes the map every 30 seconds (?), to prevent any rate limiting from Roborock cloud - but since we're local now, there is no rate limiting.

Is there any (durable) way to make the interval way shorter and have a more realtime view in home assistant?

Edits to core files get wiped on every HA update. The clean approach would be to install the roborock integration via HACS and edit custom_components/roborock/const.py and drop both values, e.g.:
IMAGE_CACHE_INTERVAL = 5
V1_LOCAL_IN_CLEANING_INTERVAL = 5
V1_CLOUD_IN_CLEANING_INTERVAL = 5
Lowering IMAGE_CACHE_INTERVAL alone won't help unless the coordinator interval is at least as fast, so lower the matching *_IN_CLEANING_INTERVAL too. I would not go below 5 since the map parsing is CPU-heavy. Hope it helps ;)

Yes Thanx, it works really well when fiddling with the core integration. Of course this will be wiped every HA update..

To what device is map parsing CPU-heavy? The local-server, home assistant, or the vacuum? I've tried a 1 second interval, but the local-server and home assistant were still ok, so assuming you mean it is CPU heavy to the vacuum?

Maybe we can raise an issue for the Roborock integration upstream with the request to implement a config option to lower this value (added by a warning, that you should not do this while using the official servers).
