What

  • Keep the original file dates (preset → Output, or --keep-dates on the command line): converted files get the created and modified dates of their source, so converted photos still sort by when they were taken. Not applied to merged PDFs or combined archives. Asked for twice on Reddit.
  • Conversions that go through another format are on the donuts now. They already worked but nobody found them:
    • new HWP preset (through HWPX) on the PDF, documents, HWP, spreadsheet, presentation, text and e-book donuts
    • PDF → Markdown and EPUB (through DOCX), Word → PNG (through PDF), HWP → JPG and EPUB
    • settings schema 7 adds them to existing donuts once (skipped when a donut is full or has them).
  • Plainer texts in all three languages: no em dashes, one speech level per Korean screen, clearer engine descriptions. Two wrong words fixed: the Korean shortcut recorder button said "recording", and removing a watch folder read like deleting it in Chinese.
  • Version 1.3.1.

Tests

Core 103 (new: keep dates, schema 7 migration matches a new install), CLI 17 (--keep-dates), App 149. Every newly listed conversion was run end to end with the CLI and the HWP outputs read back to text.

…PDF donut

Converted files can take the created and modified dates of their source (Output → "Keep the original file
dates", or --keep-dates on the command line), so converted photos still sort by when they were taken. Asked
for twice on Reddit.

PDF → EPUB already worked (PDF → DOCX → EPUB, built in) but wasn't on the PDF donut, so people didn't find
it. New installs get it there, and settings schema 7 adds it to existing PDF donuts.

No em dashes, one speech level per Korean screen, clearer engine descriptions. Two wrong words fixed:
the shortcut recorder button no longer says "recording" in Korean, and removing a watch folder no longer
reads like deleting it in Chinese.

They already worked but were on no donut, so nobody found them: HWP as a target (through HWPX) on the PDF,
documents, HWP, spreadsheet, presentation, text and e-book donuts; PDF to Markdown and EPUB; Word to PNG;
HWP to JPG and EPUB. New "HWP" preset. Settings schema 7 adds them to existing donuts once, unless a donut is
full or already has them.
