GetSimple CMS Live Chat Plugin

A lightweight live chat widget for GetSimple CMS / CE with built-in moderation, custom avatars, and announcements.

Features

Real-Time Polling: Auto-refreshes messages every 4 seconds.
Admin Panel Moderation: Change pinned announcements and clear chat logs from the GetSimple dashboard.
In-Widget Moderation: Logged-in admins see an ADMIN badge and inline delete buttons (X) on messages.
Isolated UI & Mobile Ready: Clean popup design that doesn't conflict with theme CSS.

Quick Installation

Copy gs_chat.php and the gs_chat/ folder into your /plugins/ directory.
Enable GS Live Chat under Plugins in the GetSimple admin panel.
Add the following PHP tag to your theme template (e.g., footer.inc.php) before </body>:

Usage & Moderation

Admin Settings: Go to Plugins > GS Live Chat in your dashboard to manage announcements or wipe chat history.
Inline Deleting: Log into your admin backend, view your site's frontend, and click the red X on any message to delete it.
