Scope
Document GeneralUpdate.Differential and its relationship with Tools patch package generation.
Acceptance criteria
- Covers old/new directory comparison, patch generation, patch application,
delete_files.json, blacklists, and large-file considerations. - Explains generated and consumed artifacts.
- Provides examples that cookbook pages can reference.

Completed via PR #57: GeneralUpdate.Differential documentation has been rewritten covering Clean/Dirty semantics, algorithm selection, compression providers, and integration with Core/Tools.
