1.4.0rc2(pyproject, uv.lock, regenerateddocs/openapi.json). Adds #465 on top of rc1: the lance spill failure is translated to a retryable error on the write path (merge_insert), where the soak showed it actually occurs; rc1's #463 covered only reads and never fired.Area
