Solves the issue that we ran into in: EESSI/software-layer#1635 (comment).

Tested interactively by resuming from the bot's tarball:

== COMPLETED: Installation ended successfully (took 9 mins 59 secs)
== Results of the build can be found in the log file(s)
/eessi_bot_job/eessi/versions/2025.06/software/linux/x86_64/amd/zen2/software/grpcio/1.76.0-GCCcore-14.2.0/easybuild/easybuild-grpcio-1.76.0-20260918.085241.log.bz2
== Running post-easyblock hook...

== Build succeeded for 1 out of 1 (total: 10 mins 1 secs)
== Summary:
   * [SUCCESS] grpcio/1.76.0-GCCcore-14.2.0

While I'm at it, let me check if we should also add version 1.81.0 (https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild-easyconfigs/blob/develop/easybuild/easyconfigs/g/grpcio/grpcio-1.81.0-GCCcore-14.3.0.eb) to the list.

Indeed, that version also fails, with a similar error:

  TypeError: expected str, bytes or os.PathLike object, not NoneType
  error: subprocess-exited-with-error

Trying it with the hook now...

So, I'll add that version to the list.
