[BUG] Calendars blockout warning one hour off, "1 pending approvals", and tasks can't get a due date so reminders never send #1407

Closed

Description

@mbyrdLCS

Platform: Web · Application: B1 Admin (Calendars, and Serving > My Work tasks)

What happens

  1. Room blockout warning shows times one hour off. A blockout on the Chapel from 11/16/2026 8:00 AM to 11/20/2026 5:00 PM shows as 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the Blockouts tab. Starting a New Event in that window with the Chapel picked shows the warning "from 11/16/2026, 9:00:00 AM to 11/20/2026, 6:00:00 PM". (The demo church has no time zone set. Related to closed Booking conflict warning shows wrong date/time (UTC not converted to local) #938, which was about the booking conflict date.)
  2. "1 pending approvals". With one pending room request, the Calendars page and the calendar's page say "1 pending approvals". ([BUG] Small wording and display fixes (group dialog title, approvals plural, merge field hint, QR switch, email window flash) #1342 covered the same wording on the home page.)
  3. Tasks made by hand can't get a due date, so their reminders never send. My Work > Add Task has Associate with, Assign to, Title and Notes, but no due date. On the task page, Reminders > Edit > "Send reminders for this task" says "This task has no due date, so no reminders will be sent until one is set", and nothing on the page sets one.

Expected
The warning shows the same times as the blockout, the wording reads "1 pending approval", and a task made by hand can be given a due date so its reminders work.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Calendars > Rooms & Resources > Blockouts: add a blockout for a room. Then Calendars > a calendar > New Event in that time, pick the room, read the warning.
  2. Leave one room request pending and open Calendars.
  3. My Work > Add Task, save it, open it, Reminders > Edit.
