A page for the team under Project, beside Day one: the rebuild as dev's science on a new operating foundation, told through one corrected epoch, then the record, the write path and the official pointer (two SVG diagrams), the operating path with its measured numbers, the socsims parity run, and where the team's commissioning work comes in. The index gains one line.

Task

Ben, 2026-10-31: a short doc on the rebuild's provenance changes for the team to understand the new model, grown on his second ask into the case for the rebuild with context and diagrams, covering all the differences between dev and rebuild, positive about dev throughout.

How it was written

altern8: Astra (gpt-6-astra) authored from a task file and the rapid_docs pages, the session critiqued against the task file only.

  • Round 1: page, two SVGs, index line. FIX 3: five filler sentences, belaboured arithmetic in the socsims section, "familiar" three times.
  • Round 2: all three applied. FIX 0.
  • Round 3, after the first build failed on the noted label link: {ref} for the scoring ruling. FIX 0, build green.

Every number on the page was checked against the page it links (run 158's counts and the one sent set, the ramp's 42.8 min and 1,300 jobs, the gate's one in 162, the consumer check's 33,650 packets in 388 s, the change group's 12.1 ms and its undo's 8.9 ms, exit 75 three times in 33 s, 239 MB and 23 statements under 30 ms, day one's five minutes). Both SVGs render with rsvg-convert on a white background.

Noted

  • The anchor into migration.md (Questions for the team's first week) and the label-style link decisions.md#decision-reliability-scored are for this build to confirm; the corpus uses {ref} for labels elsewhere.
  • Sphinx is not installed on the authoring host, so this build is the page's first render.
