Closes #202

Problem

Dependabot alert #53 (GHSA-2m69-gcr7-jv3q, CVE-2025-6965, high). The test project pins Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Sqlite at the 10.0.0 floor, which brings SQLitePCLRaw 2.1.11 and with it SQLite 3.49.1. The fix needs 3.50.2. The advisory lists no patched version, so Dependabot opens no PR. Consumers are not affected: no package under src/ references SQLite.

Change

  • EFCore.ComplexIndexes.Tests.csproj: a direct SQLitePCLRaw.bundle_e_sqlite3 2.1.14 reference. Only the native library moves. EF Core and Microsoft.Data.Sqlite stay at 10.0.0.
  • test/Directory.Build.targets: the EfFloat group removes the pin. A floated patch brings its own SQLitePCLRaw (10.0.14 brings 2.1.13), and a patch that brings a later one than the pin would fail the restore with NU1605.
  • .github/dependabot.yml: the test entry ignores SQLitePCLRaw majors. 3.x renames the native package, and Microsoft.Data.Sqlite 10 is built against 2.x.

Tests

  • Floor build: deps.json resolves SQLitePCLRaw.* 2.1.14 and Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.Core 10.0.0. test/assert-dependency-versions.sh … 10.0.0 10.0.0 passes. The packaged libe_sqlite3.dylib reports SQLite 3.54.0.
  • Float restore (-p:EfFloat=10.0.14 -p:NpgsqlEfFloat=10.0.3): there is no direct SQLitePCLRaw reference, and it resolves 2.1.13, which is patched too.
  • Unit suite (TestCategory!=Integration): 662 passed. The integration lanes run in CI.

After merge this goes into release/5.x by cherry-pick (-x), since that branch has the same reference.

EF Core Sqlite 10.0.0, the floor the test project pins, brings
SQLitePCLRaw 2.1.11 and SQLite 3.49.1 with it. 2.1.14 ships SQLite 3.54.
Only the native library moves: EF Core and Microsoft.Data.Sqlite stay at
10.0.0. The EfFloat lane drops the pin, since a floated patch brings its
own and a later one would fail the restore as a downgrade. Dependabot
ignores SQLitePCLRaw majors.
