Brickell Research

An independent research lab exploring interesting ideas in the interaction between system reliability and programming languages. Systems thinking, without the thinking.

We're actively working on Caffeine - a compiler for generating reliability artifacts from service expectation definitions. Caffeine is proudly written in Gleam.

We hold ourselves to the following principles:
